Leads the engineering organization responsible for GitLab Dedicated, a single-tenant enterprise SaaS platform. Owns strategy, roadmap, reliability, compliance, infrastructure investments, customer migrations, and enterprise-grade SLAs. Oversees distributed engineering managers and teams across orchestration, resilience, control-plane APIs, public-sector platforms, FedRAMP readiness, AWS GovCloud, and migration tooling. Partners with executives, Product, Security, and Support while scaling the organization, improving operational efficiency, and incorporating AI-enabled engineering workflows.

Principal Engineer responsible for defining the long-term architecture and modernization strategy for GitLab’s Fulfillment platform. The role drives technical direction across entitlements, licensing, provisioning, seat management, usage visibility, and cost management. Responsibilities include hands-on distributed systems engineering, migrations, performance and reliability improvements, cross-team influence, AI-assisted engineering adoption, and mentoring senior technical staff.

Partners with senior Engineering leaders to shape people strategy, organization design, job architecture, talent processes, leadership effectiveness, and culture. Advises on global teams, change management, calibrations, career paths, and organizational transformations. Uses data and feedback to improve engagement and performance, collaborates with People and Talent teams, and supports Engineering offsites and leadership forums across globally distributed teams.

Own the technical strategy for GitLab’s strategic technology partnerships, translating partner roadmaps into integrations, architecture, and product opportunities. Evaluate AI models and agents, build prototypes, facilitate technical workshops, develop business cases, and influence product roadmaps. Coordinate Engineering, Product, Finance, FinOps, Sales, Marketing, R&D, and partner teams through delivery while tracking cloud, AI, and DevSecOps developments. The role is remote and requires quarterly travel with EMEA-overlapping hours.

Lead the vision, strategy, roadmap, and adoption of GitLab’s test and code coverage capabilities. Identify customer problems involving pipeline failures, flaky tests, test automation, coverage, and recovery. Partner with Engineering and Design to create agent-driven workflows for diagnosis, test optimization, coverage analysis, and safe recovery. Measure outcomes, validate solutions with customers, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and mentor product managers.

Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and commercialization of GitLab Orbit, a software lifecycle context graph. Lead graph modeling, ingestion, indexing, querying, APIs, agent interfaces, governance, and enterprise readiness. Partner with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to validate customer needs, define product-market fit, launch and expand adoption, develop pricing and business cases, and track business outcomes. Mentor product managers and influence executives and technical customers.

Build GitLab code security capabilities spanning dependency analysis, SBOM and lockfile parsing, vulnerability detection, AI-assisted analyzers, and automated dependency remediation. Design evaluation harnesses, package analyzers for CI and AI workflows, improve security report accuracy, and extend ecosystem coverage. Own initiatives from design through delivery, mentor engineers, collaborate across product and engineering teams, document systems, and participate in on-call support.

Leads the architecture and delivery of GitLab’s static analysis engine and evaluation tooling. Owns program modeling, vulnerability detection quality, SAST rules, AI-assisted development guardrails, and benchmark validation. Sets technical direction, mentors engineers, coordinates complex initiatives, contributes to research and open source, and participates in on-call rotations. The role requires deep program analysis, application security, systems programming, performance optimization, containerized CI/CD, and experience building trustworthy LLM tooling.

Own revenue operations policies, global forecasting, and the CRO operating cadence. Analyze process and data issues, implement system-based improvements, reconcile sales and finance forecasts, lead executive reporting, coordinate operating reviews, document processes, and mentor teammates. The role partners across Sales, Finance, Deal Desk, Revenue Systems, Data, Product, and Enablement in a fully remote B2B subscription environment.

Owns and improves the operational toolkit supporting Solutions Architects, including systems, workflows, reporting, documentation, support requests, engagement tracking, capacity planning, and data quality. Partners with revenue technology, analytics, and system owners to translate field needs into requirements, automate processes, improve handoffs, and sustain adoption. Supports SA leadership through reporting, business reviews, operating rhythms, testing, rollouts, and continuous operational improvements.
