Provides technical leadership for Unity’s high-scale API Gateway platform, including architecture, implementation, testing, operations, incident response, technical planning, and debt reduction. Mentors engineers, drives cross-team initiatives, defines API standards, clarifies ambiguous requirements, and influences technical direction across the organization. The role requires hands-on software development, cloud operations, Kubernetes expertise, and experience building web services and platforms used by multiple engineering teams.

Translates complex technical and business ideas into compelling visual stories, evolves brand systems, collaborates with cross-functional creative teams, and delivers production-ready assets across digital, print, presentation, and event formats. The role also explores AI-assisted workflows and emerging creative technologies.

Create, review, and improve technical documentation, including user and developer guides, API references, SDK documentation, and code samples. Partner with engineers and product managers to understand complex technologies and produce clear, accurate, user-focused content. Contribute to content strategy and documentation standards, advocate for users during feature development, and coach less experienced writers while collaborating across a globally distributed team.

Own end-to-end product marketing for assigned Unity product areas and launches. Develop positioning, messaging, go-to-market plans, audience definitions, sales enablement, partner marketing, competitive intelligence, and developer-focused content. Measure launch performance and translate customer feedback into actionable insights. The role requires independent execution, strong technical writing, comfort with ambiguity, data literacy, and practical use of AI tools. Game production, developer-platform, AI/ML, partner marketing, and contract experience are advantageous.

Design, build, test, and maintain Unity's monetization backend systems focused on content moderation, fraud prevention, and privacy compliance. Develop low-latency APIs, distributed services, deduplication and labeling tools, and fraud-detection/enrichment pipelines. Collaborate in a remote-first team to deliver scalable, high-quality code and meet project priorities and deadlines.

Create, review, and improve AI-assisted technical documentation, including user guides, developer guides, API references, SDK documentation, and code samples. Develop and maintain a low-latency, high-performance game streaming application across multiple platforms.
