The Director II, Inside Sales will coach a team of sales managers, manage hiring and onboarding, support professional development, and drive a high-performance culture focusing on customer success and team collaboration.

Drive full-cycle sales to mid-market customers in Canada, from prospecting and cold calling through discovery, proof-of-concept trials, stakeholder management, pricing negotiations, and executive-level closing. Build pipeline, consistently achieve quota, sell deals exceeding $10,000 in annual revenue, and develop trusted customer relationships while collaborating with teammates and learning customers’ operational businesses.

Develop into an outbound Account Development Representative through structured training and on-the-job learning. Respond to prospective customer inquiries, book product demonstrations, identify new business opportunities, collaborate with ADRs and Account Executives, and maintain accurate lead records in Salesforce. The role requires motivation for target-driven sales, curiosity, strong English proficiency, and a growth mindset. Prior sales or cold-calling experience is beneficial but not required.

Serve as the primary post-implementation contact for top customers, craft joint success plans, run executive business reviews and workshops, mentor teammates, support French-speaking customers, and advise on customizing Samsara’s IoT platform to drive safety, efficiency, and sustainability.

Build trusted technical relationships with enterprise customers, troubleshoot Samsara hardware, software, APIs, and AI solutions, and optimize implementations. Serve as the primary technical contact, manage incident communications, identify growth opportunities, maintain account records, and collaborate across stakeholders. The role also supports Technical Account Management team development and requires occasional customer travel plus after-hours or weekend coverage when needed.

Design, develop, debug, and test cloud-connected firmware features (C/C++ and Go). Support and scale IoT device fleet, build observability and rollout metrics, triage customer/QA issues, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver production-ready firmware.
