Perform a technical upgrade of an on-premise Guidewire PolicyCenter environment, assessing code impacts, incompatibilities, and regression risks. Develop using Gosu and PolicyCenter configuration, apply advanced knowledge of the PolicyCenter data model, use the Guidewire Upgrade Tool, and prepare technical documentation. Develop and correct Data Consistency Checks (DBCCs) in an on-premises Guidewire PolicyCenter environment, including data and Gosu code changes addressing root causes. The role requires autonomous technical diagnosis and implementation within the data model and code, rather than functional analysis, QA testing, or legacy data conversion.

Create JavaScript or TypeScript scripts, test REST APIs, analyze observability and performance results, identify application, infrastructure, and database bottlenecks, and recommend optimizations. Evaluate the impact of Guidewire cloud updates and features on existing processes while supporting deployment and adoption plans in an Agile environment.

Lead the end-to-end testing strategy for a complex transformation program involving CRM, Salesforce, and multiple integrated systems. Govern validation phases, coordinate dependencies across teams and vendors, define test environment and data requirements, establish regression testing, identify automation opportunities, coordinate acceptance testing and production deployments, and report progress and risks to management.

Lead Guidewire platform development across PolicyCenter, with integration considerations for ClaimCenter and BillingCenter. Responsibilities include defining team development processes, establishing standards and best practices, mentoring developers, coordinating with Guidewire technical advisors and other teams, participating in architecture and solution design meetings, managing pricing models, testing and integration, and contributing to system architecture analysis for commercial P&C insurance operations.

Provide executive sponsorship for capital markets modernization programs: define scope, approve business case and roadmap, remove organizational barriers, arbitrate priorities, ensure regulatory and architecture alignment, and drive benefits realization, adoption, and on-time, on-budget delivery across business, technology, operations, and external partners.

Leads organization and delivery cadence for a technically strong team by structuring and monitoring the backlog, tracking progress, aligning work with project schedules, and maintaining momentum. Collaborates with Scrum Masters, RTEs, and development assistants on cross-team continuous improvement. Requires autonomy, resourcefulness, strong communication, team integration, and understanding of IT environments. Scrum certification and scaled Agile or insurance experience are advantageous.
