Provides legal advice and transaction support for project, infrastructure, acquisition, and structured finance. Drafts and negotiates complex financing and security documents, advises on risk allocation and lender protections, manages due diligence, supervises external counsel, and supports syndicated transactions. The role also develops legal precedents, processes, training, and guidance while helping establish FCC’s Project Finance business line.

Evaluate and structure sophisticated lending solutions for medium-to-large agribusinesses, analyze financial and industry risks, support syndicated transactions, set security and covenants, monitor loan compliance, conduct market analysis, and mentor team members to ensure portfolio and transaction integrity.

Analyze complex commercial and agriculture lending proposals, assess credit risk, recommend loan structures, and prepare credit submissions. Partner with relationship managers and credit risk teams throughout authorization, negotiate terms, monitor compliance, manage eligible loan requests, and support customer prospecting and meetings. The role requires advanced corporate lending expertise, financial analysis, sound judgment, strong communication, and English-French bilingual proficiency.
