Translate artist feedback and quantitative data into intuitive interfaces, simplified workflows, measurable UX improvements, and software requirements. Collaborate with artists, production, Pipeline, IT, developers, and technical directors; facilitate workshops, prototype solutions, define UX metrics, and communicate recommendations to stakeholders.

Create and assemble 3D shot and sequence layouts in Maya based on previs and supervisor direction. Set up cameras, organize scenes, resolve blocking and technical issues, and prepare optimized setups for downstream VFX departments. Refine composition and camera movement to support visual storytelling, collaborate through dailies and reviews, incorporate LiDAR and photogrammetry data, document workflows, and support onboarding and continuous improvement.

Creates polished, photorealistic visual effects shots by compositing 2D and 3D elements. Responsibilities include rotoscoping, clean plates, retouching, rig removal, tracking, color correction, grain management, integration, quality control, and implementing creative and technical feedback. Collaborates with supervisors, production, and other departments while meeting deadlines and maintaining consistency across shots.

Assemble 2D and 3D visual effects elements into coherent, photorealistic shots using Nuke. Create rotoscoping, clean plates, rig removal, tracking, keying, grain, color correction, and integration work. Collaborate with supervisors, production, and other departments, troubleshoot technical issues, meet deadlines, incorporate feedback, perform quality control, and share knowledge with the team.

Creates complex visual effects simulations including fire, smoke, fluids, destruction, and abstract effects using Houdini. Collaborates with FX, CG supervision, pipeline, production, and other departments to deliver photorealistic, technically optimized shots. Responsibilities include managing simulations through rendering, optimizing caches, resolving technical issues, integrating feedback, communicating estimates and risks, documenting workflows, and sharing knowledge. Requires strong artistic judgment, physics awareness, autonomy, and technical proficiency in Houdini, with familiarity in compositing, rendering, USD, Solaris, and scripting.
