Creates high-quality graphic and motion design for Unity’s brand, campaigns, product launches, social media, events, and marketing initiatives. Owns the full-stack development and production operation of Unity’s Unified Ads Platform. Designs TypeScript and NestJS services, APIs, data contracts, relational schemas, migrations, and event-driven integrations using Kafka and Google Cloud Pub/Sub. Builds React interfaces, operates services on Kubernetes, and improves observability, testing, reliability, and scalability. The role requires ownership of production systems, API correctness, cross-service consistency, design and code review standards, and mentoring other engineers.

Design, build, and operate full-stack advertising platform services using TypeScript, NestJS, React, Kafka, Pub/Sub, and Kubernetes. Own APIs, data contracts, relational schemas, event-driven integrations, observability, reliability, and production operations. Develop scalable user interfaces, maintain data consistency across services, establish engineering standards, conduct reviews, and mentor engineers.

Provides technical leadership for Unity’s high-scale API Gateway platform, including architecture, implementation, testing, operations, incident response, technical planning, and debt reduction. Mentors engineers, drives cross-team initiatives, defines API standards, clarifies ambiguous requirements, and influences technical direction across the organization. The role requires hands-on software development, cloud operations, Kubernetes expertise, and experience building web services and platforms used by multiple engineering teams.

Leads the architecture, development, testing, operation, and long-term evolution of high-traffic API gateway and platform capabilities. Owns reliability, performance, security, incident response, and operational excellence while mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction across teams. Partners with product managers and stakeholders to define strategy, roadmap, API standards, and scalable solutions for Unity’s internal service teams.

Build and operate multi-tenant, cloud-native platform infrastructure (Kubernetes, IaC) to enable hundreds of engineers: tenant isolation, policy enforcement, cost allocation, SOX compliance, secrets management, deployment pipelines, security hardening, and reliability improvements across GCP and multi-cloud environments.

Create, review, and improve technical documentation, including user and developer guides, API references, SDK documentation, and code samples. Partner with engineers and product managers to understand complex technologies and produce clear, accurate, user-focused content. Contribute to content strategy and documentation standards, advocate for users during feature development, and coach less experienced writers while collaborating across a globally distributed team.

Own end-to-end product marketing for assigned Unity product areas and launches. Develop positioning, messaging, go-to-market plans, audience definitions, sales enablement, partner marketing, competitive intelligence, and developer-focused content. Measure launch performance and translate customer feedback into actionable insights. The role requires independent execution, strong technical writing, comfort with ambiguity, data literacy, and practical use of AI tools. Game production, developer-platform, AI/ML, partner marketing, and contract experience are advantageous.

Design, build, test, and maintain Unity's monetization backend systems focused on content moderation, fraud prevention, and privacy compliance. Develop low-latency APIs, distributed services, deduplication and labeling tools, and fraud-detection/enrichment pipelines. Collaborate in a remote-first team to deliver scalable, high-quality code and meet project priorities and deadlines.

Create, review, and improve AI-assisted technical documentation, including user guides, developer guides, API references, SDK documentation, and code samples. Partner with engineers and product managers to understand technologies and audiences, contribute to content strategy, advocate for users, and ensure documentation is clear, accurate, concise, and usable. Provide guidance and coaching to less experienced writers while helping establish consistent documentation standards.
