Design, develop, debug, and test cloud-connected firmware features (C/C++ and Go). Support and scale IoT device fleet, build observability and rollout metrics, triage customer/QA issues, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver production-ready firmware.

Manage enterprise customers after implementation, helping them achieve business value from Samsara’s IoT platform. Develop joint success plans, lead executive business reviews and customer workshops, recommend workflow improvements, explain platform capabilities, resolve barriers, and mentor Customer Success and Support teams. Collaborate with Sales, Support, Sales Engineering, Product, and Engineering while supporting customers across transportation, utilities, field services, and other physical-operation industries.

Lead and develop a Canada Scaled Customer Success team to drive onboarding, adoption, expansion, and renewals via digital scale programs. Hire and coach CSMs, manage KPIs/OKRs, improve processes and tooling, collaborate cross-functionally, and escalate high-stakes customer moments to ensure measurable customer outcomes.

Partner with R&D and engineering leaders to manage Cloud, Cellular, and AI infrastructure costs. Analyze financial results, produce management reporting, support month-end close, build forecasts, improve reporting models, develop performance KPIs, and drive annual operating plan planning. The role also involves cost optimization, financial modeling, cross-functional collaboration, and using AI tools to streamline reporting and analysis.

Leads Samsara’s Quality Engineering and Test Infrastructure organization, setting strategy and building scalable testing platforms, automation frameworks, environments, simulators, test data systems, and CI/CD integrations. Establishes quality metrics, improves regression prevention and release confidence, reduces flaky tests and feedback times, and partners across engineering and product teams. The role also includes AI-assisted testing initiatives, exploratory validation, organizational leadership, hiring, coaching, and developing engineering managers and senior individual contributors.

Design and build Samsara’s cloud governance platform, including IAM guardrails, security controls, compliance automation, and software supply-chain security tooling across AWS and GCP. Develop reliable distributed systems, secure CI/CD patterns, and SAST/DAST capabilities. Contribute to technical roadmaps, collaborate across infrastructure, security, compliance, and engineering teams, and communicate design tradeoffs while mentoring teammates through reviews and pairing.
