We are looking for a Telecom Power Project Manager to lead and manage power infrastructure deployment projects supporting mobile network expansion and modernization across the Philippines. You will work closely with customers, vendors, tower companies, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
This position plays a key role in enabling network rollout, LTE/5G readiness, and site power reliability for telecommunications operators.
What you will do
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of telecom power infrastructure projects, including AC upgrades, transformer installations, generator upgrades, and electrical panel enhancements.
- Manage permanent power connection and permitting processes for telecom cell sites.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and execution strategies.
- Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, tower companies, and utility providers to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Monitor project performance and ensure delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Perform risk management and issue resolution to minimize project delays and operational risks.
- Conduct site inspections and technical validation of electrical works performed by contractors.
- Oversee power system upgrades supporting LTE and 5G network expansion.
- Prepare and review Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for power infrastructure upgrades.
- Facilitate customer communication, progress reporting, and project status updates.
- Manage contractor progress, billing evaluation, and acceptance documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and engineering specifications.
- Conduct post-project evaluations and lessons learned to improve delivery efficiency.
You will bring
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
- Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) license preferred.
- PMP Certification or equivalent project management certification is an advantage.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in telecommunications infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in telecom site power systems, AC upgrades, and network rollout support.
- Strong experience working with telecom operators, vendors, contractors, and utility companies.
- Experience supporting LTE or 5G network deployment projects.Knowledge of power equipment such as transformers, generators, rectifiers, batteries, and electrical panels.
- Strong background in site implementation, power assessment, and telecom infrastructure deployment.
