We're growing fast and hiring Product Talent to match.
We’re looking for an intermediate Technical Writer who enjoys turning complex product concepts into clear, practical content to join a team of experienced writers as we continue to scale MaintainX’s documentation.

What you’ll do:

  • Write, review, and publish content for the MaintainX Help Center, including user guides, feature documentation, and release notes
  • Work alongside senior writers on larger projects, incorporating feedback to strengthen your craft and align with team standards
  • Maintain and improve existing content for accuracy, clarity, and usability
  • Contribute to in-product content and documentation that supports frontline users
  • Collaborate with teams across Product, Design, Engineering, Support, and Customer Success
  • Contribute to documentation processes and help keep content organized and up to date
  • Use AI tools to support and accelerate your writing workflow

About you:

  • 2–3 years of experience writing technical or product documentation, ideally in a SaaS environment
  • Strong writing and editing skills—you can explain complex ideas in a simple, straightforward way
  • User-focused: you think about how real customers (especially frontline workers) will use and understand the content
  • Comfortable learning new tools and working with product and engineering teams
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and consistency
  • Able to manage your own workload and follow through on deliverables in a collaborative environment
  • Comfortable using AI tools, and curious about how these tools are evolving

Extra consideration for candidates with:

  • Experience writing for industrial, operations, or maintenance-related products
  • Familiarity with docs-as-code tools (Markdown, Git, static site generators)
  • Experience with API or developer documentation
  • Exposure to UX writing or in-product content
  • Experience working with support or customer-facing teams
  • Proficiency in Spanish and/or French
