As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you'll work alongside talented engineers, architects, and business partners to build modern, cloud-based applications that power investment operations across multiple asset classes, including Equities, Fixed Income, Commercial Real Estate, Credit Default Swaps, and Reinsurance.

What You'll Do

As a key member of an Agile delivery squad, you will:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-scale applications across the full software development lifecycle.
  • Build modern user experiences using React and develop scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
  • Develop and enhance cloud-native applications running on Azure and Kubernetes (AKS).
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to implement high-impact solutions.
  • Lead technical discussions, design reviews, and architecture decisions.
  • Create APIs, database designs, and server-side components supporting mission-critical investment applications.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive continuous improvements in system performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Apply modern engineering practices including CI/CD, DevSecOps, automation, testing, and semantic versioning.
  • Mentor team members through code reviews, technical guidance, and best practices.
What You'll BringRequired Experience
  • 5 to 8 years of Full-Stack Development
  • 5+ years of hands-on development using Java.
  • 5+ years of advanced SQL and database development experience.
  • 3+ years working with Microservices and Kubernetes (AKS preferred).
  • Strong experience developing modern web applications using React.js.
  • Expertise with Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems.
  • Experience with GitHub, GitHub Copilot, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience building solutions in Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, testing, and secure development practices.

Salary range is expected to be between

$113,000.00 CAD - $163,000.00 CAD

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
