Reporting to the Director, Head of FP&A Intermediary, the Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting the fast-growing Intermediary (Retail) business by delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial analysis to enable effective decision‑making by senior management. This role requires strong FP&A fundamentals, business partnership capabilities, and the ability to leverage financial systems to scale reporting and planning processes.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Deliver accurate and timely monthly and quarterly financial reporting and management presentations for senior leadership and CFO organization

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business performance analysis, scenario planning, and strategic decision‑making.

  • Support annual planning, budgeting, and periodic forecasting processes, including variance analysis and outlook assessments.

  • Analyze key business drivers and metrics (e.g., earnings, net flows, AUM) and provide clear, actionable insights.

  • Partner closely with business and finance stakeholders to understand performance trends, risks, and opportunities.

  • Prepare executive‑ready materials, including presentations and ad hoc analyses, to support leadership decision‑making.

  • Leverage Essbase / Smart View and Anaplan to efficiently produce and enhance financial reporting and planning.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to streamline FP&A processes, automation, and analytics.

Required Qualifications:

  • University degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent

  • Professional accounting designation (CPA) or Degree specialized in Accounting/Finance preferred.

  • 5 or more years of experience in a finance role; Wealth and Asset Management industry experience an asset

  • Demonstrated experience developing, reviewing/vetting, working with financial models and analyzing potential risks; exceptional analytical skills coupled with a critical thinking mindset and eye for details

  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; Essbase/ledger and Anaplan expertise would be an asset

  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast paced, high-performing, and collaborative team environment while managing multiple, constantly changing priorities and ad-hoc requests

  • Proactive approach to continuous improvements and a positive, “can-do” attitude

  • Curious with the ability to identify and investigate complex issues, and recommend actionable solutions

  • Experience with writing, analysis and storytelling for effective deck production

  • Exceptional analytical skills coupled with a critical thinking mindset

  • Advanced executive communication and writing skills; ability to succinctly engage with management and other team members

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset. If the successful candidate is in Québec, proficiency in both languages will be required to support clients from various provinces outside of Quebec.

Salary range is expected to be between

$73,725.00 CAD - $122,875.00 CAD

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
