Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Manager, this role is responsible for owning the delivery of monthly reporting, forecasting, and productivity insights, supporting CPB Finance decisionmaking. The role will partner closely with Finance and business stakeholders to translate data into actionable insights, challenge assumptions, and ensure outputs are clear, concise, and decisionready. The key accountabilities include:

  • Own production and delivery of productivity reporting, strategic investment analysis, and forecasting output

  • Provide clear, insight‑driven analysis, identifying key drivers and framing implications for leadership

  • Challenge and validate assumptions to ensure outputs are robust and decision‑ready

  • Partner with Finance and business stakeholders to align priorities, timelines, and outcomes

  • Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes and tools to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort

  • Support financial planning (Plan / Forecast) with a focus on productivity and cost optimization

  • Ensure proper controls are in place to maintain the utmost data integrity of financial results, ensuring consistency with business unit reporting by fully understanding data flow, finance systems (OBI, EPM, Hyperion) and leveraging enterprise-wide reporting tools

  • Understand financial drivers for business activities, identify key business performance metrics for the business and ensure benchmark / industry / best practice information is shared with appropriate stakeholders

  • Support standard business case preparation and track financials for the investments

Job Requirements

  • Strategic thinker with a strong business acumen

  • Charismatic and positive nature with the ability to build strong business relationships

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to select, interpret and present financial results with simplistic impactful messages, with minimal wording and complication

  • Completion of University degree in Finance or Accounting, complemented by a recognized professional designation (CPA)

  • Strong attention to detail with ability to balance accuracy with speed and business relevance

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar position involving both reporting and analysis in a large, highly matrixed organization

  • Technically savvy with a diverse exposure to enterprise software, reporting systems and custom report building

  • Expert-level understanding of MS Excel, PowerPoint and Hyperion, OBI and SmartView with the ability to build working templates and reports that utilize advanced functions to automate data compilation and reporting functions while maintaining strong controls and data integrity

  • Team player who is comfortable in a fast-paced work environment with an evolving mandate and can work well under pressure

  • Exceptional ability to problem solve with ambiguous data / minimal direction

  • Adaptable to a continuous changing environment.
