As a Senior Data Scientist dedicated to the Finance function, you are the technical driving force behind the function’s innovation efforts. You work directly with business teams to transform pain points and opportunities into concrete solutions by leveraging artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, and automation. Your strength lies in building quickly and proving value. You design proofs of concept, pilots and MVPs that support quick decisions: what works is prepared for broader deployment, and what doesn’t work yields actionable lessons. You also act as an AI advisor to the Finance community, working closely with the innovation advisor. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Identify and qualify, with stakeholders, use cases with high potential for the application of AI, advanced analytics, and automation within the Finance function.
  • Assess the technical feasibility, business value, and adoption potential of the proposed solutions to prioritize the most promising initiatives.
  • Quickly design and develop proofs of concept, pilots, and MVPs to validate or reject a hypothesis within a few weeks.
  • Develop models, algorithms, and AI agents that meet the specific business needs of the Finance teams.
  • Explore, test and compare new AI technologies to inform the Finance function’s technology choices.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to highlight trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Support Finance teams in experimenting with and adopting solutions, and act as the AI resource for the community.
  • Ensure the responsible, secure and compliant use of data and AI solutions, in alignment with the organization’s guidelines.
  • Prepare solutions that have demonstrated their value for production, in collaboration with the relevant technology teams.
