Solution Architect is responsible for designing end-to-end solutions (encompassing application layer, data layer and infrastructure layer) that address our businesses and functions’ needs.
The Team You Will Work With
You will be a part of the Global Enterprise Architecture team and work closely with domain representatives, product owners, developers, data architects, infrastructure specialists and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into robust, scalable, and efficient solutions. Your scope will cover more specifically business domains related to Global Engineering Services.
What Is Expected Of You
The Solution Architect oversees solution architecture definition, securing alignment with global frameworks at Pernod Ricard & consistency of models across technical landscape. The role involves guaranteeing that overall development efforts are integrated appropriately, from testing to effective roll-out.
- In-Depth Knowledge of enterprise level software development methodologies, frameworks, and technologies.
- strong knowledge relating to designing, deploying, and monitoring solutions
- Software development skills (full stack)
- Middleware technologies such as Service Bus, Event Hubs, Etc)
- Understanding of TCO and different solution/technical architecture scenarios
- DevSecOps (CI/CD, ARM templates, Sec Design), Cloud computing, solution design, API design, & microservices architecture
- ITSM processes
- Data Management along with Offline/online data storage in apps
- Cloud Native development and serverless computing (web apps, azure functions, logic apps, API management, application gateway)
- Knowledge is architectural frameworks, design patterns, and integration technologies. Solution design, including cloud computing, microservices architecture, and API design
- Defining target Solution Architecture and Contribute to Solution Design, Development and Rollout: Understand business objectives, technical requirements, and constraints. Develop comprehensive solution designs that leverage existing technologies and align with industry best practices. Define solution conceptual & detailed architecture, securing alignment with global architecture standards, build & maintain associated models & documentation. Assess evolving product roadmap impacts on solution architecture & continuously optimize target vision. Define guidelines for engineering/development & integration/deployment teams working on the solution, in relation with tech/data architects, provide support as needed. Contribute to the evaluation/selection process for application packages, where relevant
- Engaging in change management & continuous improvement initiatives: Contribute to transversal initiatives to secure continuous improvement of architecture practices at Pernod Ricard. Champion global architecture vision within product squads, for your scope. Continuously develop your own skills on solution architecture topics
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle. Work closely with development teams to ensure that architectural standards and best practices are followed.
- Architecture Development: Design and document solution architectures, including system components, interfaces, data flows, and integration points. Ensure that architectures are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
- Technology Evaluation: Research and evaluate new technologies, tools, and frameworks. Make recommendations for technology adoption based on industry trends, client requirements, and project goals.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues related to solution architecture. Develop mitigation strategies to address risks and ensure project success.

Key internal stakeholders : Global Tech Product Teams;(Global Engineering Services – contribute to solution design activities and change arbitration; define guidelines for engineering/development & integration/deployment teams), Enterprise Architect (Coordinate as needed to secure the consistency of architecture decisions within PR), Data Architect (collect guidelines to secure consistency of architecture decisions), Integration Team, Security Team, Infrastructure, Other Solution Architects within the chapter, Chief Enterprise Architect, Squad Members for Delivery of Products
Key external stakeholders : Technology Providers offering end-to-end solutions for Oriented solutions, Peers in the CPG Industry and Service Providers

Education & Background
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certifications: (asset but not mandatory)
- Enterprise and Tech Architecture Certifications (asset)
- Azure or similar Solution Architect Certification (asset)
- Salesforce/Customer Platforms Certifications (Asset)
- Background & expected experiences: 5-6 years in IT / Tech-functional roles, and proven experience in Solution Architecture (Related)
