Capturing and leading complex global investments requires us to work as one to seize valuable opportunities, in close collaboration with some of the world’s top companies. At PSP, you’ll join a team of motivated and engaged professionals, dedicated to propelling our organization further than ever before. In Budget 2023, the Government of Canada announced that PSP Investments would act as the independent and exclusive investment manager for the Canada Growth Fund (CGF) a $15 billion public investment vehicle that was established to support the growth of Canada’s clean economy and help to meet its national economic and climate policy goals. Following this, PSP Investments has incorporated CGF Investment Management (CGFIM) for that purpose. CGFIM is providing the full suite of investment management services to CGF covering the entire investment process pursuant to an Investment Management Agreement (IMA).

ABOUT THE TEAM

CGF is a $15 billion arm's-length investment vehicle designed to attract private capital to build Canada's clean economy. It uses investment instruments that absorb certain risks to catalyze private investment in low-carbon projects, technologies, businesses, and supply chains.

The CGFIM CIO group is a driving force behind CGF's strategic direction, connecting portfolio activity, corporate strategy, asset management, and stakeholder relations into a single coordinated function. As trusted advisors to the CIO and senior leadership, the team leads the development of CGF's portfolio construction strategy, stewards the Fund's flagship corporate and governance documents, and represents CGF's institutional voice across PSP and with external stakeholders. The team blends investment fluency with strategic communication, ensuring CGF's growing portfolio is matched by an equally disciplined corporate and governance foundation.

  • Build, maintain and update templates, tools, trackers and reporting inputs used for asset management, portfolio oversight and stakeholder relationship management, including CRM maintenance and adoption tracking

  • Coordinate logistics and materials for CGFIM’s knowledge-transfer practice, Lunch & Learn series and strategic sessions, including venue, vendor, speaker and presentation-material coordination

  • Track and summarise market trends, deal activity and sector news to support recurring thought-leadership activities, preparing first-pass summaries for review

  • Research potential use cases for CGFIM’s AI-enabled tools, prepare summaries and support the documentation of methodologies used to evaluate investment impact and scale

  • Provide flexible support for special projects, including research, coordination, drafting and production activities that help the team respond to leadership requests

  • Support competitive landscape research for CGF's market positioning, and assist with day-to-day updates to marketing materials, branding, and the CGFIM website in coordination with external service providers

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
