Job description
Join as a Senior Analyst, Data & GIS within our Artificial Intelligence function and be a catalyst for high-impact, data-driven investment decisions. This role is dedicated to supporting our Digital Infrastructure Strategy and sits at the intersection of data, geospatial analytics, deal execution and value creation.
In this role, you will directly support multiple investment opportunities each year, contributing advanced geospatial and network-based analysis across the full investment lifecycle, from pre-IOI market assessment to post-close value creation. Your work will directly influence Investment Committee decisions, investment theses, and post-acquisition strategic initiatives, providing critical insights on assets such as fiber networks, towers, cable systems, and data centers.
You will have direct exposure to senior leadership, including Investment Committee members and Operating Partners, and will collaborate closely with deal teams and portfolio company management to translate complex spatial data into clear, actionable intelligence. If your expertise lies in data and geospatial analysis, ArcGIS development, and infrastructure modeling, and you are motivated by seeing your work shape real investment outcomes, this role offers a unique opportunity to operate at the core of a modern, data-driven private equity platform.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced geospatial analyses and mapping solutions using ArcGIS and related tools
- Conduct network, routing, and proximity analyses for towers, cables, linear infrastructure assets, and data centers infrastructure including footprints and interconnection potential
- Analyze and interpret data from portfolio companies, investment targets, and external sources such as customer cubes, pricing trends, demographics, and urban densities into actionable intelligence for investment teams.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to deliver spatial analysis integrated into market due diligence (TAM, SAM, Whitespace) efforts and provide clear, actionable insights to support investment decisions
- Build and maintain geospatial data models to support scalable and reusable analysis across deals and portfolio companies
- Integrate spatial and non spatial datasets from multiple internal and external sources.
- Translate complex geospatial and network data into clear, visually compelling outputs for investment committees and operating teams
- Partner with portfolio company and investment targets management teams to support value creation initiatives such as network expansion, infrastructure planning, and go-to-market strategies.
- Develop standardized geospatial methodologies, templates, and best practices for deal execution and portfolio monitoring
- Stay current on GIS capabilities, technologies, and infrastructure analysis best practices
- Uphold ethical standards and maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive information

- Strong experience with Power BI or similar BI tools, building dashboards and analytical views for executive-level decision-making
- Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and geospatial workflows
- Familiarity with AI tools and large language models (e.g., OpenAI, Claude) to enhance data analysis, automation, and workflow efficiency
