Location/Division Specific Information
This is an 18-month contract.
The role will be remote (in US or Canada) but linked to one Drug Product sites to ensure strong alignment and partnership with the businesses and functional leaders.

What will you do?
- Responsible for reviewing the Requests For Proposal information to ensure adequate information has been received to be able to prepare project costing and to collaborate closely with operational and sales teams as appropriate.
- Responsible for building cost estimates in the current costing tool.
- Will receive mentorship from senior members of the Drug Product Commercial Proposal team related to the pricing that should be applied to opportunities.
- Responsible for drafting and completing the bid proposals using the current templates with moderate level of review from their supervisor.
- Responsible for leading the Executive Inbound and Outbound Opportunity Review teleconference segments for their assigned opportunities.
- Responsible for acquiring the required internal approvals prior to issuing the final proposal to the Sales team.
- Handle the editing and updating of the quote records in SalesForce.com.
- With support from senior members of proposals team, support the Sales team on teleconferences with the client to confirm the technical aspects of projects are understood and costed appropriately. Follow-up as required.
- Chip in to continuous improvements within the proposals process.
Keys to Success:
Education
- Bachelor level education in Science, Engineering, or Business is strongly preferred or equivalent professional experience .
Experience
- 3+ years of professional working experience.
- Pharmaceutical services shown experience is helpful but not required.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- High proficiency and capability with MS Office Suite primarily with Excel and Word
- Experience writing client facing documents in MS Word is helpful but not required
- Proficiency with Salesforce.com (CRM)
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work successfully within a diverse group of colleagues in various locations
- Shown ability to work in a team environment with shared critical metric goals
- Language skills: Proficient in English (French speaking desirable)
