THE ROLE
Tefron is looking for a friendly, professional, and highly organized Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our office. This role is essential to ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the workplace by providing front desk support, general administrative assistance, and office coordination. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced office environment.
In this role, you will:
- Serve as the first point of contact for all visitors, clients, and vendors, ensuring a positive and professional first impression
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and general inquiries
- Greet visitors, manage sign-ins, and notify staff of guest arrivals
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception and common areas
- Coordinate meeting room bookings, set up rooms as needed, and arrange catering or refreshments for meetings
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
- Provide general administrative support, including data entry, filing, scanning, and document preparation
- Order and manage office supplies and liaise with vendors as needed
- Support the Office Manager and administrative team with day-to-day office operations
- Assist with internal events, meetings, and company activities
- Perform other related administrative and front desk duties as required
Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative support role
- Must be able to work in-office during regular business hours
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and other basic office software
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional demeanor with strong customer service skills
- High attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Positive attitude, flexibility, and a willingness to assist where needed
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education is an asset)
- Must be bilingual in English and French
- Prior experience in a receptionist or administrative role
- Experience booking and managing travel is a preferred asset
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic office technology
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment
