As Product Owner, you will represent the voice of the client in projects and be responsible for the member/client experience. You will consistently prepare a range of products and services to ensure a positive member/client experience. You will work in close collaboration with the project developer and business analyst to ensure the solution meets user needs and that the project’s expected benefits are delivered. You will manage relationships with the project’s various stakeholders. Your ability to engage others will therefore be an essential skill. You will lead and influence your squads’ specialists and the various stakeholders as part of planning, feasibility and development projects that involve strategic, complex, highly innovative interventions involving multiple sectors. In this regard, you will contribute to developing and recommending strategic orientations and business positioning. You will make recommendations on the development and delivery of files and projects involving a very high degree of operational and conceptual complexity that have a major impact on the business sector’s orientations. These tasks will require analysis and an overall, in-depth understanding of the business and the organization. Coordination will be critical. You will be called upon to interact with a very large number of stakeholders who are active in a variety of fields of expertise. You will serve as expert advisor and subject matter expert, as well as a resource person and coach for senior management and decision-making bodies. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Simplify complex concepts and translate models for decision-making bodies so they can better understand the potential strategic benefits the data offers the organization, our members and our clients. 

  • Ensure that opportunities are identified to leverage data and evaluate its potential impact in terms of Desjardins Group’s directions and business priorities, as part of initiatives that could lead to strategic positions.

  • Prioritize opportunities to leverage data, define solutions and develop an analytical roadmap that is integrated with Desjardins Group’s business plan and strategic vision. 

  • Ensure that the delivery teams are aligned in terms of the design and development of highly complex analytical solutions. 

  • Help the business sector better understand the solutions and integrate them into their business activities as part of strategic cross-sector initiatives.

  • Establish policies and methods to measure performance and advise teams about the deployment of these measures.

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • A minimum of eight years of relevant experience

  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

  • Knowledge of French is required
