What will your day-to-day look like? 

  • Act as a technical expert (Subject Matter Expert SME) for the Torque Management System (TMS) across all assembly sites.
  • Manage the inventory of TMS controllers and tools. Ensure systems are updated to the latest version and track the number of licenses.
  • Ensure the implementation of best practices, documentation, and the creation of "Cookbooks" (guides) for TMS systems.
  • Collaborate with TMS governance and support the long-term vision.
  • Manage multiple initiatives for continuous improvement of integration systems such as TMS, induction heating, and others.
  • Serve as the point of contact for TMS Andon systems. Monitor performance indicators (quality, productivity, efficiency, etc.) and apply appropriate measures and solutions.
  • Participate in and conduct TMS testing through to production implementation.
  • Perform various other tasks as required.

What do you need to succeed? 

  • 2 years or more of relevant experience in IT systems
  • Technical knowledge of torque systems will be an asset
  • Mechanical Engineering will be an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and projects
  • Ability to solve IT problems, including debugging of systems
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with all internal and external teams
  • Decision-making and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to influence and act as a change agent
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to handle high pressure and prioritize multiple requests in an ultra-dynamic environment
  • Adaptability, autonomy, and a positive attitude

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and no prior experience
