Position Overview

Autodesk is seeking an experienced strategic marketing professional to join our Platform and Cross Industry Marketing team in the Worldwide Marketing Organization. As the Principal GTM Frameworks Manager, you will be directly reporting into the Director of Platform Marketing and be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our Audience and Outcomes Framework  initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate with global stakeholders from marketing, sales, customer success, and strategy teams to understand strategic needs, ensure frameworks are understood and embedded within the organization, and drive effective marketing strategies that support business objectives. 

You are the ideal candidate for this role if you love pulling apart complex, strategic problems and simplifying them. You thrive in collaborative environments, are detail oriented, and are constantly looking for ways to optimize and improve current state processes. You are passionate about leveraging frameworks to enhance marketing effectiveness and have a deep understanding of marketing strategies, audience segmentation, and performance metrics. You have a demonstrated track record of understanding and managing marketing frameworks.
Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Lead the strategic evolution of our GTM frameworks, processes and tools in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders, identifying opportunities for simplification and optimization. Help ensure frameworks are integrated into overall marketing strategies and systems (e.g. Integrated Marketing Plan)

  • Framework Governance and Optimization: Ongoing governance, maintenance, and improvement of the Outcomes and Audience Frameworks. Conduct regular audits and research checks to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of frameworks. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of the frameworks

  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with global marketing teams, strategy teams, sales teams, product managers, and business unit leaders to understand their strategic needs and ensure alignment with the frameworks

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8 to 12 years of professional experience in marketing or strategy roles, ideally at a software company, and with a proven track record of taking complex problems and simplifying them to achieve better outcomes

  • Extensive experience in stakeholder collaboration, strategic planning, and performance analysis

  • Great communication skills, written and verbal, with clear examples of presentation work. Also, able to adapt communication style to persuade stakeholders across the business

  • Experience working with Airtable and Salesforce

Preferred Qualifications

  • Managing and optimizing marketing frameworks within a large, multinational corporation

  • Airtable expert 

  • Familiarity with the architecture, construction, design and manufacturing, and/or media and entertainment industries

  • MBA, advanced degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in Business Administration or a relevant Marketing field

Responsabilités

  • Planification et exécution stratégiques : Diriger l'évolution stratégique de nos cadres, processus et outils GTM en partenariat avec les parties prenantes interfonctionnelles, en identifiant les opportunités de simplification et d'optimisation. Veiller à ce que les cadres soient intégrés dans les stratégies et systèmes de marketing globaux (par exemple, le plan de marketing intégré)

  • Gouvernance et optimisation du cadre : Gouvernance, maintenance et amélioration continues des cadres de résultats et d'audience. Effectuer régulièrement des audits et des contrôles de recherche pour garantir l'intégrité et l'efficacité des cadres. Établir et suivre des indicateurs clés de performance (ICP) pour évaluer l'efficacité des cadres

  • Gestion des parties prenantes: Collaborer avec les équipes de marketing, les équipes stratégiques, les équipes de vente, les chefs de produit et les dirigeants des unités opérationnelles afin de comprendre leurs besoins stratégiques et d'assurer l'alignement sur les cadres de référence

Qualifications minimales

  • 8 à 12 ans d'expérience professionnelle dans le domaine du marketing ou de la stratégie, idéalement au sein d'une société de logiciels, avec une capacité avérée à résoudre des problèmes complexes et à les simplifier pour obtenir de meilleurs résultats

  • Vaste expérience de la collaboration avec les parties prenantes, de la planification stratégique et de l'analyse des performances

  • Excellentes aptitudes à la communication, écrite et orale, avec des exemples clairs de travaux de présentation. Capable d'adapter son style de communication pour persuader les parties prenantes dans l'ensemble de l'entreprise

  • Expérience de travail avec Airtable et Salesforce

Qualifications souhaitées

  • Gestion et optimisation des cadres de marketing au sein d'une grande entreprise multinationale

  • Expert en Airtable

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $144,700 and $198,990. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
