TA MISSION
Le Costumier sera responsable d’assurer le développement et la conception des items costumes selon les spécifications techniques et artistiques du projet. Tu travailles en collaboration avec les équipes d’opération afin d’optimiser au maximum nos items et d’améliorer leur durée de vie, tout en comprenant les besoins de l’utilisation des costumes dans un contexte de spectacle vivant.
Le Costumier sera responsable de :
- Développer les maquettes costumes en respectant les normes APTO : Artistique, Performance, Techniques et Opérations;
- Être influent auprès des concepteurs costumes et des artistes;
- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec différents intervenants liés au développement des items costumes;
- Effectuer les essayages de costumes avec les artistes;
- Rédiger et mettre à jour la documentation technique.
- Un DEP en technique de vêtements masculins et féminins, un DEC en design de mode, production théâtrale ou l’équivalent;
- Un minimum de 2 ans d’expérience idéalement en confection de costumes de scène;
- Une connaissance des méthodes de confection;
- Une connaissance approfondie des différents tissus;
- Une capacité à t’adapter aux imprévus et à travailler en équipe;
- Une capacité à gérer ton stress et à travailler avec de courts délais;
- Une attitude positive et motivée;
- Une bonne rapidité d’exécution;
- De l’autonomie;
- Une aisance en français et en anglais.

YOUR MISSION
The Costumer will be responsible for developing and designing costume items according to the project's technical and artistic specifications. You will work in collaboration with the operations teams to optimize our items and improve their lifespan, while understanding the needs of costume use in a live performance context.
The Costumer will be responsible for:
- Designing costume models in compliance with APTO (Artistic, Performance, Technique and Operations) standards;
- Influencing Costume Designers and artists;
- Working closely with various stakeholders on designing costume items;
- Conducting costume fittings with artists;
- Producing and updating technical documentation.
- A DEP in men’s and women’s apparel technology, a DEC in fashion design, theater production, or the equivalent;
- A minimum of 2 years of experience, ideally in the creation of stage costumes;
- Knowledge of garment-making methods;
- In-depth knowledge of various fabrics;
- The ability to adapt to unexpected situations and work as part of a team;
- The ability to manage stress and work under tight deadlines;
- A positive and motivated attitude;
- The ability to work quickly;
- Independence;
- Fluency in French and English.
