Provide hands-on IT operations support for a global, fully-remote team: administer SaaS collaboration tools, manage devices and OS configurations, own identity and access management, improve onboarding/offboarding, troubleshoot cloud networking and access issues, document processes, and collaborate on automation (IaC) and security with Platform and Security teams.

What we are building

Mimica is an AI-powered process intelligence platform enabling enterprises and individuals to reclaim their most precious resource: time. We've all seen repetitive tasks and redundant processes quietly drain productivity and creativity. Not because companies don’t want to become more efficient, but because they don’t know where to start.

Mimica automatically analyzes your team’s work, then generates the AI agents to execute it. Our software turns everyday work into data-backed decisions, helping companies remove process bottlenecks, automate the right tasks, and upskill teams with precision and confidence.

We’ve raised $26 million in Series B financing and are scaling fast. Backed by investors including Khosla Ventures and Paladin Capital, our proprietary AI technology is trusted by Fortune 500 companies to accelerate transformation. Mimica is recognized as a Top 100 AI Start-up by Accel and an industry Leader by the Everest Group.
Our team

Behind our platform is a team of exceptionally talented people, remote-first and globally distributed across 16+ countries. We're looking for curious, collaborative people excited to solve complex problems. You'll join a fast-paced environment built on high ownership, bottom-up thinking, and transparent, open communication – helping some of the world's leading organizations transform the way work gets done with AI.

Your mission
Mimica is growing rapidly, and we’re expanding our IT Operations capability to ensure our global team has a secure, seamless, and scalable technology experience as we scale.

As our second IT Ops Engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to shape how IT works at Mimica, not simply maintain it. You’ll improve the systems and processes that keep teams productive, connected, and secure, while providing support to colleagues worldwide.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys combining operational excellence with problem-solving and continuous improvement.

You’ll work closely with Platform, Security, and Delivery teams, helping build the foundations that allow Mimica to grow confidently and enable every employee to do their best work.
Part of your day-to-day

  • Administer and optimize core IT and collaboration tools including JumpCloud, GSuite, Slack, Notion and Remote, ensuring secure and seamless access for globally distributed teams.

  • Manage company-issued laptops and other devices, maintaining OS configuration and compliance with IT and InfoSec policies.

  • Lead and continuously improve onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring timely provisioning and deprovisioning of access and IT assets across cloud and SaaS environments.

  • Own identity and access management (IAM), role-based access control (RBAC) for different software we use, and conduct periodic access reviews to meet evolving security requirements.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day IT issues - including access permissions and cloud networking operations (e.g., VPCs, firewalls, routing rules, IAM configurations) - with a focus on minimizing downtime for business-critical teams.

  • Participate in platform and tooling rollouts, contributing to implementation, testing, and support of new IT systems and policies.

  • Develop and maintain clear internal documentation of IT processes, troubleshooting guides, and onboarding materials to scale knowledge sharing and reduce dependency.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Platform, Security, and Delivery teams to identify and execute automation opportunities

  • Approach support and project work with a service-oriented mindset, taking initiative to streamline workflows and preempt recurring issues.

What you will bring

  • Experience supporting and configuring cloud-based IT environments, especially SaaS tools and Google Workspace.

  • Hands-on experience with access management and IAM configurations across cloud platforms (GCP preferred).

  • Clear, concise English-speaking communicator, comfortable collaborating across global teams and explaining technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Service-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritize and resolve requests that impact business-critical teams.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a methodical, self-directed troubleshooting approach.

  • Basic understanding of network operations - especially in the context of cloud networking (e.g., GCP VPCs, IAM roles, routing rules).

Bonus

  • Deep expertise with Windows or Mac OS.

  • Familiarity with endpoint security and basic InfoSec hygiene in a cloud-native environment.

  • Been a part of a startup/scaleup environment.

Location & Remote

  • This is a fully remote position. To ensure effective collaboration with our team, we are only considering candidates in the following regions:

  • Anywhere in North, Central, or South America (e.g., the US, Canada, Brazil, or Argentina).
