Lead regionally. Grow strategically. Deliver what matters.

At Sedgman, we’re expanding our global presence across the Americas, with a clear focus on minerals processing, critical minerals and complex project delivery. As Executive Vice President, Americas, you will step into a senior executive leadership role shaping Sedgman’s growth, market position and delivery capability across North and South America.

This is a career-defining opportunity to lead a strategically important region at a pivotal stage of expansion. Reporting to the Managing Director and operating as part of the Executive Leadership Team, you will provide commercial, operational and strategic leadership across the Americas business, with accountability for regional growth, client engagement, delivery governance, P&L performance, team capability and sustainable business outcomes.

With the Americas continuing to present significant opportunity across mining, minerals processing, critical minerals and energy transition markets, you will play a central role in strengthening Sedgman’s regional presence, developing strategic client and partner relationships, and converting opportunity into high-quality, commercially sustainable work.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead Sedgman’s Americas business strategy, providing executive leadership across growth, delivery, commercial performance and operational execution.
  • Develop and convert a strong regional opportunity pipeline across North America and South America, with a focus on sustainable order book growth, client relationships, commercial quality and risk management.
  • Strengthen Sedgman’s market position across the Americas, with a focus on minerals processing for critical minerals, including copper, lithium, and rare earths, as well as complex EPCM project delivery.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, including executive-level relationships across Tier 1, mid-tier and emerging mining organisations.
  • Provide leadership across studies, engineering delivery, project delivery support, tenders, proposals, pre-contracts and submission governance to support disciplined growth and delivery predictability.
  • Own regional P&L performance, ensuring profitability, cash flow discipline, cost control and compliance with corporate and governance requirements.
  • Identify and pursue acquisitions, partnerships, joint ventures and strategic alliances that support long-term market penetration and regional capability.
  • Build, mentor and empower senior leadership teams across the United States, Canada and select South American countries, strengthening succession, capability and cultural alignment.
  • Champion collaboration across Sedgman, and ACS Group, leveraging broader capability to create differentiated client solutions.
  • Ensure regional delivery is aligned with Sedgman governance, delegation of authority, commercial, risk, HSE and ESG requirements.
  • Champion innovation, digital delivery, operational excellence, continuous improvement and high-performance culture across the region.

In this role, you will:

You’re a strategic, commercially credible and growth-oriented executive leader with the ability to operate across regions, influence at senior levels and build the relationships, capability and performance discipline required to scale a regional business.

  • A degree-qualified engineering or technically aligned leader with extensive experience across minerals processing, mining, engineering, EPC/EPCM, operations or major project delivery.
  • Senior executive experience leading regional businesses, complex project environments or multidisciplinary technical teams across the resources sector or adjacent industrial markets.
  • Proven commercial leadership, including P&L accountability, contracts, negotiation, risk, governance, pursuit strategy and performance management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead business development, client engagement and market growth across complex technical environments.
  • Strong relationships and networks across the North American and South American mining sector, ideally from an engineering, EPCM or service provider perspective.
  • Experience operating across regions, cultures and matrixed stakeholder groups, with the ability to build alignment across diverse teams and operating models.
  • Commercially astute, outcome-focused and confident translating strategy into execution.
  • Collaborative, decisive and adaptable, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and bring teams with you through growth, integration and change.
  • A strong commitment to safety, integrity, accountability, inclusion and high-performance team culture.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across North and South America.
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish is desirable but not essential.
