The EPCM Project Planner will develop and maintain project schedules across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning. Responsibilities include critical path analysis, integrating subcontractor and supplier schedules, monitoring progress, forecasting, producing reports and S-curves, assessing scope changes, and supporting procurement activities. The role requires at least five years of planning experience, proficiency with Primavera P6, Excel, and Microsoft Project, strong stakeholder-management skills, and fluency in French and English.

Design electrical power distribution (MV and LV) for mineral processing projects; prepare equipment specifications and datasheets; develop proposals and conceptual designs across project phases; liaise with clients, suppliers and multidisciplinary teams; potentially lead projects and mentor junior staff; ensure compliance with Canadian codes and safe design practices.

Provide process engineering support through all project phases (PEA, PFS, FS, conceptual to detailed design). Prepare process calculations, PFDs, heat and material balances, P&IDs, size equipment, write specifications, troubleshoot process issues, support clients, use operations systems (JDE, Synergy, Aconex, etc.), and recommend mining processing technology improvements.

Leads global engineering systems, governance, standards, and digital transformation across Sedgman’s international engineering network. Establishes scalable frameworks, integrates engineering tools and processes, advances BIM/CDE, data and AI-enabled capabilities, and uses performance insights to improve quality, productivity, predictability, and project outcomes. Partners with regional leaders, manages software vendor governance and strategic investments, and aligns engineering capabilities with business priorities. The role requires extensive engineering design, EPCM, multidisciplinary leadership, and global matrix experience, plus fluent French and strong English.

Lead global engineering governance, systems and standards; drive adoption of digital engineering, data and AI capabilities; align processes and tools for scalable delivery; use performance data to improve predictability and quality; govern software vendors and investments; partner with regional leaders to improve commercial and delivery outcomes.

The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead the electrical engineering team, manage design projects in mineral processing, and mentor junior staff.
