We are looking for an Executive Assistant who is efficient, business minded, highly organized, adaptable, and tech-savvy to support our Canadian Region Leader of the ELIP business at ABB. You will be the Director's right arm, playing a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with a dynamic leader in a fast-paced environment if you are driven, observant and proactive.

This role is contributing to the Electrification, Installation Products division of ABB Canada and is located in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.

The work model is hybrid, with 2-3 days per week at the office (700 Av. Thomas, Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, QC J2X 2M9).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Agenda and Email Management: Keep the Region leader’s schedule organized and ensure efficient communication.  Answer emails on behalf of the superior where appropriate.
  • Travel Planning and expense management: Prioritize and arrange seamless travel logistics, including flights, accommodations, and transportation. Process and track expense reports with accuracy.
  • Management and analysis of business reports.
  • Elaborate, prepare and carefully review PowerPoint presentations to top management.
  • Event and Offsite Coordination: Plan and execute engaging events and productive offsite meetings. Organize content of meetings, briefings, fact finding, ensuring all details are covered.
  • Ad hoc Projects: Assist with a variety of tasks and projects, providing flexible support as needed.
  • Management of invoices, purchase orders, and payments.
  • 25% of you time will be spent on other various subjects, special projects and or other initiatives. This will be based on the business needs and personal interest.  What an opportunity to have an impact!

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bilingual in French and English: strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages is required in this role as this person will communicate with people globally on a regular basis.
  • Curious Business Nature: Eager to understand our business operations and strategies to support the Region leader effectively.
  • Someone who is observant and can take initiative to anticipate needs and task to be completed.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient with office software and digital tools, capable of quickly learning new technologies. Proficient in PowerPoint, Excell, Power Bi, etc.
  • Highly Organized and proactive: Exceptional ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Open-Minded and Flexible: Willing to take on diverse tasks and adapt to new situations.
  • Creative and Able to Think Outside the Box: Innovative approach to problem-solving.
  • Team Player and Collaborative: Excellent ability to work with others and contribute to a positive team dynamic.
