Job Description

At Reitmans Canada Limited - RCL, we believe great people create great experiences. We're looking for a proactive, highly organized Executive Assistant to support our EVP, Chief People & Corporate Affairs Officer and VP, Human Resources. This is more than calendar management—it's an opportunity to partner with senior leaders who shape our culture, people strategy, and employee experience across the organization, while playing a key role in keeping priorities moving and the business running seamlessly.

What You'll Do

  • Manage complex executive calendars, meetings, and priorities to maximize efficiency.
  • Coordinate meetings with internal and external stakeholders, including the Executive Leadership Team and Board committees, as required.
  • Manage correspondence, monitor action items, and ensure timely follow-up on key deliverables and commitments.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, agendas, briefing materials, executive communications, and meeting materials.
  • Coordinate leadership meetings by preparing agendas, capturing key decisions and action items, and ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Manage departmental budgets, process invoices, reconcile expenses, and partner with Finance on budget tracking.
  • Maintain organized, accurate, and confidential records, files, and documentation.
  • Build strong relationships across the organization and serve as a trusted point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Continuously look for opportunities to improve processes, simplify workflows, and enhance the effectiveness of the People & Corporate Affairs team.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience supporting senior executives, preferably within an Executive Leadership Team environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fully bilingual in English and French, with the ability to support leaders and collaborate with teams across Canada.
  • A high level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity when handling highly confidential information.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, and AI tools
