Job Description

The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) – Salesforce acts as a liaison between business needs and the Salesforce technical solution. The BSA analyzes business processes, defines functional requirements, and supports the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the organization’s business systems.

This is a temporary 12-month position with the possibility of becoming permanent afterwards.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and document business needs and system requirements with stakeholders.
  • Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements and define measurable success criteria.
  • Analyze and optimize “as-is” / “to-be” processes and model them using BPMN, Visio, or similar tools.
  • Create and maintain business analysis documentation, including BRDs, FRDs, User Stories, Use Cases, RTMs, Fit-Gap and impact analyses, CAB requests, and workshop documentation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, solution architects, and developers to design scalable solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage product and solution roadmaps and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Coordinate the application lifecycle, including maintenance, upgrades, vendors, security, performance, and enhancements.
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and decision-making committees while promoting cross-functional collaboration.
  • Support quality assurance activities, including test plans and cases, UAT, requirements validation, and defect management.
  • Contribute to system integrations, including interface design, data mapping and validation, and data quality and integrity.
  • Support change management activities, including impact assessments, change readiness, training, and knowledge transfer.
  • Provide Level 3 application support and coordinate Level 4 escalations with vendors and development teams.
  • Monitor solution performance, recommend improvements, and contribute to governance and long-term value creation.

Qualifications

To join our team:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or Functional Analyst.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken.

Skills and Tools:

  • Good knowledge of Salesforce.
  • Requirements management and collaboration: Confluence, Azure DevOps.
  • Process modeling and mapping: Microsoft Visio.
  • Documentation: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint.
  • Data tools: Basic knowledge of SQL and Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools is an asset.
  • Methodologies: Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
