As a Azure Data Platform Administrator, you support IT efficiency. You design, configure, administer, maintain, develop and upgrade products, librairies, softwares, business solutions, computer networks, management systems and medium- to large-scale database servers based on the organization's needs. You analyze and diagnose complex issues related to the development, administration and stability of IT systems, librairies deliveries and infrastructure operations. You provide opinions in accordance with your discipline's rules and recommend solutions to improve and optimize standards, policies and programs. You propose implementation plans. Your projects and initiatives require extensive knowledge of your line of work. You coordinate the planning, design and execution of projects and initiatives. You help solve complex problems using your analytical skills and detailed knowledge of your line of business. Coordination is critical. You interact with stakeholders working in other fields. You serve as a resource person for your unit, clients and partners. More specifically you will be required :

  • Identify, input, analyze and interpret the information and data required to support testing phases, implementation strategies and decision-making for choosing IT solutions and automating appropriate tasks or infrastructure components.

  • Identify situations that could significantly affect environmental quality and stability, and provide advice for implementing recommendations based on the impacts and risks or opportunities for improvement associated with change management.

  • Respond quickly in situations that require urgent action when incidents affect environmental stability.

  • Prepare and recommend action plans to address complex issues in accordance with rules and parameters.

  • Actively help develop and automate tasks and infrastructure components as well as implement and update policies, practices and standards.

  • Direct and oversee work to keep commitments made to reach objectives.

  • Help solve highly complex problems using your analytical skills and comprehensive, detailed understanding of your line of business and the organization.

  • Lead and serve as a platform specialist for your unit, clients and practitioners from other sectors.

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • A minimum four  years of relevant experience

  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

  • Proven experience in roles that require managing complex or urgent situations

  • Professional experience in fast-paced or high-pressure environments

  • Proven experience managing multiple priorities with tight deadlines

  • Knowledge of French is required
