The Role At A Glance:

    Every campaign, every booking, every brand partnership eventually becomes an invoice. Someone
    has to make sure that money actually arrives. That is this role. As a Senior Accounts Receivable Lead, you own the cash coming in, and with it a direct hand in the company's financial health. And because cash that arrives sooner is worth more to everyone it touches, you will be the one finding ways to bring it in faster.
    It is a senior, hands-on seat. You will run the AR cycle end to end, from client onboarding and credit assessment through billing, collections, cash application, reconciliations, escalation and reporting. You will set the priorities, watch the numbers, untangle the complicated files, and keep the function moving at a consistent standard.
    It is also more than an operational mandate. You will own credit across the client portfolio, deciding how much room the business extends and to whom, and you will shape how quickly cash moves through the company. Shortening the distance between an invoice and its payment sits at the heart of this mandate, and we are looking for someone with the commercial imagination to do it gracefully.
    You will work closely with Finance, Agents, Talent Management, Operations and clients, carrying the escalations and building direct relationships with the finance contacts on the other side of the invoice. You will also develop the AR team and keep sharpening the processes, tools and reporting around them.
    We are looking for someone who knows receivables cold, brings genuine credit judgment, and wants the autonomy to run the function rather than wait to be told how. If you have spent years being the person who actually gets the money in, this is a seat with room to prove it.

Why This Role Matters:

  • Function Owner: You run the end-to-end AR cycle and set the standard it operates at: organized, efficient, and the same every time.

  • Credit Gatekeeper: You own credit assessment and limits across the client portfolio, weighing commercial opportunity against the exposure the company is taking on.

  • Collections Driver: You lead collection activity, own the aging, and stay on outstanding balances until they clear, improving cash flow and bringing DSO down.

  • Liquidity Strategist: You bring a commercial view to how fast cash arrives, from payment terms to the mechanisms available for accelerating collection. Shortening that cycle is how your success is measured, and you bring both the ideas and the polish to present them to clients.

  • Automation Lead: You bring AI and automation into the AR function with a practised hand, replacing manual steps with systems that scale as the business does.
  • Relationship Builder: You build real working relationships with client finance and payables contacts, so that collection rests on a conversation already in place.

  • Escalation Navigator: You own the escalation path for overdue accounts, disputes, payment delays and the files nobody else wants to touch.

  • Accuracy Guardian: You oversee posting, cash application, reconciliations and the controls that keep AR records clean and trustworthy.

  • Cross-Team Connector: You are the point of contact for Agents, Talent Management and Operations whenever payment, credit or billing touches a client, a talent or the business.

  • Team Builder: You prioritize the team's workload, guide them day to day, and grow their skill and independence.

  • Numbers Translator: You own the AR KPIs (aging, DSO, collection performance, outstanding balances) and turn them into reporting Finance leadership can act on.

  • Systems Sharpener: You find the friction in AR workflows, systems and controls, and fix it, including what NetSuite can be made to do better. it. NetSuite is
    where most of that work lives, and a year from now we expect it to be doing considerably more, thanks to you.

  • Hands-On Operator: You stay close enough to the daily work to solve the hard cases, back up the team, and keep things running when it counts.

What You're Bringing With You:

  • 6+ years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, credit or financial operations; we are far more interested in the depth of those years than the count;
  • Genuine, hands-on fluency in NetSuite: essential for this role, and something we will enjoy exploring with you in conversation;
  • Experience bringing automation or AI to life inside a finance function: a project you led and can speak to in detail;
  • A commercial instinct for accelerating cash, paired with the initiative to bring fresh approaches to clients and the discretion to do it well;
  • Deep experience running the full AR cycle: collections, aging, cash application, reconciliations and dispute resolution;
  • Hands-on credit experience, including credit assessment, limit-setting and managing exposure across a client portfolio;
  • A track record leading, supervising or mentoring an AR or finance team;
  • Sharp analytical judgment: you read AR KPIs including DSO and aging, spot the risks early, and go after what matters most;
  • A people-first approach, with the interpersonal and leadership skills to build trust, develop a team and make collaboration easy;
  • Excellent communication and a steady hand in escalation, with clients and internal stakeholders alike;
  • Serious organizational skills and the ability to hold several competing priorities at once without dropping any;
  • Experience in a talent agency, entertainment, media, advertising, creative or similar industry is an asset;
