Supervise a Canadian payroll team and ensure accurate, compliant, and timely processing of high-volume, multi-provincial payrolls. Review payroll calculations, deductions, adjustments, reports, and tax filings; resolve escalated issues; coach and evaluate team members; support hiring and onboarding; and improve payroll procedures, controls, efficiency, and client service.

Process accurate, compliant Canadian payroll across multiple provinces, including new hires, adjustments, terminations, off-cycle payrolls, deductions, and manual checks. Maintain HRIS and employee data, review payroll inputs, resolve discrepancies, troubleshoot payroll and timekeeping issues, generate reports, and support clients, employees, audits, and internal teams. The role requires bilingual English and French communication, strong Canadian payroll expertise, confidentiality, attention to detail, and effective deadline management.

Supports, tests, configures, troubleshoots, and improves payroll and employee self-service systems. Responsibilities include system integration, workflow setup, data mapping, validation, documentation, Jira ticket resolution, post-launch support, stakeholder communication, project updates, and recommending solutions aligned with business needs. The role also provides implementation, transition, consulting, and mentoring support to internal and external clients.
