This is a hybrid role #LI-Hybrid

Salary Range: $65,203.00 - $111,078.00

 

 

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Workforce Management & Analytics you will play a crucial role in workforce management forecasting, conducting root cause analysis, analyzing metrics, and providing comprehensive reporting that will support decision-making across our LCBO Retail Stores.

About the Role 

 

  • Develop and maintain accurate workforce management forecasting models using Blue Yonder as the primary application. 

  • Conduct regular reviews and updates of forecasting methodologies to ensure alignment with current business needs. 

  • Perform root cause analyses on forecast variances and develop action plans to address discrepancies. 

  • Generate regular reports on forecast accuracy and performance metrics. 

  • Develop and maintain dashboards to help leaders visualize forecasting data and trends. 

  • Analyze scheduling efficiency and identify opportunities for improvement. 

  • Collaborate with Retail Store Managers to understand unique staffing needs and incorporate them into scheduling processes. 

  • Conduct scenario planning to assess the impact of different scheduling approaches. 

  • Prepare and present performance reports to management and stakeholders. 

  • Develop and deliver training sessions on workforce management systems and tools. 

  • Ensure new users understand retail business practices related to scheduling, timekeeping, and labor compliance. 

  • Implement best practices in data analysis, forecasting, and scheduling optimization. 

  • Participate in projects that enhance workforce management practices. 

 

 

About You 

 

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as: Business Analytics, Statistics or Operations Research. 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in workforce management, forecasting, or related analytical role. 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in retail operations with a focus on workforce management forecasting. 

  • Experience managing large volumes of data from multiple sources to produce actionable insights. 

  • A certification in Workforce Management would be considered an asset. 

  • Experience with Blue Yonder would be considered an asset.
