What you’ll do

The Visual Presentation Coordinator will assist franchisees in all aspects of visual presentation so that they can optimize their sales and profits.

•    Be responsible for the implementation of all visual merchandising mandates at store level
•    Contribute to the design of new stores for various banners
•    Train new and existing employees in all aspects of visual merchandising for retail.
•    Provide input and analysis for visual merchandising mandates under development.
•    Ensure compliance with company merchandising standards.
•    Create reports for each store and communicate them to the local supervisor, banner managers, merchandising coordinator and Chief Merchandising Officer
•    Help stores plan seasonal layouts and product transition periods

What you bring

•    Diploma in visual presentation or design 
•    3-5 years experience in visual merchandising in the retail industry (apparel and hardgoods)
•    Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. Working knowledge of C.A.D Software, Photoshop or Corel Draw (an asset)
•    Bilingual (English and French)
•    Excellent teaching and communication skills
•    Must be willing to travel often
•    In some cases, the incumbent will have to work long hours and weekends to meet obligations to our franchisees
•    Ability to work independently without supervision

*Bilingualism in French and English is required for this position. The role involves frequent collaboration and discussion with colleagues and partners across Canada. These interactions necessitate a high level of proficiency in French and English to effectively perform the tasks associated with the job.
