Position Summary

We are seeking a results-driven and strategic sales professional to join our team as Vice President, Sales / Wholesaler. This role is responsible for managing a defined territory within the IIROC advisor channel, with a focus on driving sales, achieving annual targets, and maintaining positive asset growth. The successful candidate will be a proactive relationship builder with a strong understanding of investment products and capital markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve annual sales targets and contribute to positive asset growth within the assigned territory.

  • Proactively prospect and engage with IIROC advisors through various channels, including phone calls, virtual and in-person meetings, branch visits, and events.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships through cold calls, warm referrals, and consistent follow-up.

  • Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and client-facing activities.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service and support to advisors.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in wealth management, preferably in a wholesaler or internal wholesaler capacity.

  • Proven success managing an IIROC advisory region and driving sales growth.

  • Strong knowledge of mutual funds, alternative investments, and capital markets.

  • Post-secondary education is required.

  • Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is mandatory; additional designations such as CFA or MBA are considered assets.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and client-focused.
