Your role as Vice-President, Partnerships

Reporting to Jennifer Buckley, SVP, Commercial, your role will be to cultivate and elevate Dialogue’s most strategic partnerships, transforming them into mutually beneficial relationships that drive substantial growth and innovative partnerships. By leveraging your expertise, you will spearhead initiatives that position Dialogue as the premier partner of choice, ensuring that each collaboration reaches its fullest potential. Your leadership will be instrumental in aligning cross-functional teams, , and creating a seamless partner experience that fosters long-term success and aligns with our broader organizational goals.

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Driving Business Growth: Spearheading Dialogue’s expansion by developing and managing partnerships with key Carrier Partners, Advisors, and Brokers
  • Innovating Partnerships: Strategizing and executing new partnership channels while maintaining and strengthening existing collaborations to ensure sustained growth
  • Elevating Key Relationships: Cultivating and deepening relationships with critical stakeholders to elevate Dialogue’s position as the premier partner of choice
  • Creating and Executing Strategic Plans: Leading the development and execution of a comprehensive business strategy aimed at expanding and nurturing strategic relationships across Canada
  • Negotiating High-Value Deals: Leading complex contract negotiations with C-suite executives to secure long-term, high-impact partnerships
  • Leading a High-Performing Team: Building, mentoring, and managing a dynamic team of partnership professionals, driving excellence, and fostering a collaborative culture

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • 7+ Years of Experience: Demonstrated expertise in partner management and business development, with a proven track record of driving successful partnerships- 
  • C-Suite Sales Experience: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite executives, influencing decision-making and driving business outcomes
  • Partnerships in Complex Industries: Proven experience in creating or managing partnerships within healthcare, complex technology industries, or similar sectors.  Familiarity with the benefits provider, insurance, virtual healthcare would be well considered
  • Contract Negotiation Success: A history of successfully negotiating complex contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial terms that support long-term business goals
  • Adaptability in Fast-Paced Environments: Comfortable thriving in a rapidly evolving, dynamic organization, with the ability to pivot and execute under pressure
  • Hands-On Leadership: A hands-on leader who is not afraid to roll up your sleeves and actively engage with the team on key pursuits and projects, ensuring alignment and execution
