POSITION OVERVIEW

You are responsible for turning entrepreneur interest into measurable business results. You lead BDC’s digital growth, acquisition, performance marketing, marketing automation, Martech and website operations capabilities.

As a member of the Marketing Leadership Team, you help evolve Marketing into a value creation engine driven by data, measurable performance and continuous optimization. BDC is the only bank dedicated exclusively to Canadian entrepreneurs, and your work directly contributes to the growth of small and medium-sized businesses across Canada.


CHALLENGES TO BE MET

  • Define and execute BDC’s growth marketing strategy in alignment with business priorities.
  • Increase Marketing’s contribution to client acquisition, conversion and retention.
  • Lead digital acquisition, demand generation, lead nurturing and conversion initiatives.
  • Oversee the performance, governance and evolution of BDC’s website.
  • Contribute to develop measurement, attribution, forecasting and marketing investment optimization capabilities.
  • Accelerate the adoption of automation, personalization and artificial intelligence.
  • Partner with business, sales and technology teams to improve business outcomes.
  • Lead and develop a team of digital growth, performance, web, automation and Martech specialists.
  • Foster a culture of performance, experimentation and continuous improvement.

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Technology, Digital Business or a related field. 

Experience

  • Executive-level experience in growth marketing, digital marketing, performance marketing, digital commerce, digital product management or business transformation.
  • Experience managing a high-visibility transactional or corporate website.
  • Experience in digital acquisition, demand generation, lead nurturing, conversion, retention and marketing automation.
  • Experience with Martech, data, experimentation and performance measurement.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams within a complex matrix environment. 

Key Skills

  • Growth marketing and performance marketing.
  • SEO, SEM and digital media.
  • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO).
  • Marketing attribution and ROI optimization.
  • Marketing automation and personalization.
  • Martech platform management.
  • Artificial intelligence applications in marketing.
  • Strategic leadership, influence and change management.
  • Bilingualism in French and English, both written and spoken. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or relevant master’s degree.
  • Experience leading large-scale marketing, digital or technology transformation initiatives.
  • Experience integrating artificial intelligence into marketing operations.
  • Expertise in digital experimentation and A/B testing.
  • Experience in financial services or another highly regulated industry.
