As the Test Solutions Engineer, you will be the key project owner for Micron NOR Flash memory test programs. You will be ensuring project readiness and assessing program quality through exacting program release process.
The general responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
- Develop test solutions for existing and new product technologies in the given area. Test plans will include hardware requirements, defect coverage, characterization, trending coverage, process flow, and test times.
- Collaborate with various engineering and production groups to ensure test program, infrastructure, and system readiness for new product introduction as well as mass manufacturing.
- Provide efficient and innovative solutions for production test flow optimization and test time reduction methodologies.
- Develop and maintain package functional test strategies and programs for semiconductor NOR Flash products and release test programs to production in a timely manner.
- Ensure all test programs, scripts, or any other software is completely checked out prior to a production release.
- Generate supporting data, track process and engineering metrics to ensure stability, efficiency and effectiveness of test program management.
- Improve device yield, reliability and quality through test condition optimization, advanced excess analysis schemes, data analysis and test equipment hardware optimization.
- Support process or assembly excursion activities including identification, containment, notification & implementation of corrective/preventive actions.
- Assist production and process teams by providing vital engineering solutions to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
- Communicate effectively with both internal & external customers.
- Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and aligning with organizational standards and legal requirements.
- Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one's scope of work.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or any related engineering field
- Experience in Test Engineering & Semiconductor Manufacturing
- Preferably with below skills;
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux environment, with strong programming skills; C / C++ / Perl / Python / Tester language
- Good understanding of semiconductor device physics will be an added advantage
- Automated test equipment knowledge & experience
- Inclined in writing & debugging test programs
- Excellent verbal & written communications skills
Preferred experience:
- Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills; flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred
- Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and role-appropriate AI literacy to use AI-enabled tools responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, content creation, problem-solving, operational tasks, and achieving business outcomes.
