Project Title: Automation at Carrier Cleaning Process
Description: Development and implementation of an automated cleaning system for carriers to improve consistency, reduce manual handling, and enhance contamination control within the cleanroom environment.
Scope:
- Design and implement an automated carrier cleaning solution (e.g., Automated air blow system)
- Integrate carrier in/out handling using semi/fully automated mechanism (conveyor, robot arm, or indexing system)
- Define and standardize cleaning process parameters (cycle time, chemical usage, drying method)
- Perform system integration with existing production flow and material handling process
- Conduct testing and validation (UAT) to ensure cleaning effectiveness and process stability
- Data collection and analysis on cleaning performance, particle reduction, and throughput
- Implement safety, ESD, and contamination control requirements
Supporting Team:
- Manufacturing Engineering,
- Equipment/Automation Engineering,
- Quality Assurance (QA) & IT
- System Integration Team
Deliverables:
- Automated carrier cleaning system installed and operational
- Reduction in manual cleaning activities and operator handling
- Consistent cleaning performance with defined acceptance criteria (particle level / contamination level)
- Improved cycle time and throughput versus manual cleaning
- Standardized cleaning recipe and control parameters
- Data tracking capability for cleaning cycles and performance (if system integrated)
Stretch Goals:
- Real-time monitoring dashboard for cleaning efficiency and machine status
- Reduction of chemical consumption / water usage through optimization
- Predictive maintenance feature for cleaning system
- Achieve zero manual intervention
