We're seeking someone to join our team as a Business Technology Portfolio Manager, ready to help forge the workplace of the future by facilitating technology innovations.

In the Corporate Services division, we provide solutions that enable Morgan Stanley’s workforce, across our global workplace locations, to effectively and efficiently work in the service of our clients. This is a Director position within Transformation & Process Management, which specializes in change management strategy, with the aim to align people, process, and technology initiatives more closely with its business strategy and vision.

What you’ll do in the role:

  • Work with business, technology and other partners to help develop strategic technology roadmaps and transformation plans for your internal clients

  • Develop and document business cases for technology projects

  • Facilitate internal processes around risk management, business management, budgeting and governance for existing and new technology initiatives

  • Provide project oversight for key technology initiatives, including upgrades of existing software, new implementations, Gen AI developments, etc.

  • Lead working-group sessions and facilitate status meetings for senior stakeholders

  • Contribute expertise from your assigned domain to the larger transformation space for strategic decision making across the division 

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in influencing or coordinating business projects among dispersed teams

  • Experience working in a large enterprise with continual collaboration across divisions

  • Familiarity with business technology through exposure to software development, assessment or implementation

  • Meticulous organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to juggle many moving parts and adapt quickly to changing priorities

  • Confidence in leading discussions and decision-making processes with colleagues of all levels
