What your weeks are going to look like
- Design and integration of complex interface systems directly within Unreal (UMG/Slate);
- Creating and optimizing custom shaders and materials for advanced visual effects;
- Collaborating with designers, artists, and programmers to solve cross-platform integration challenges;
- Debugging, profiling, and optimizing the UI to ensure smooth performance on PC, consoles, and other platforms;
- Improving the UI pipeline and documenting best practices for the team.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in graphic design, UX/UI design, digital arts, or a related field, combined with equivalent experience;
- Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in designing interfaces for video games;
- Excellent proficiency in Unreal UMG and Blueprints (Slate is a plus);
- Experience with Unreal animation systems (a plus);
- Advanced skills in creating shaders/materials;
- Strong understanding of UX principles and interaction design;
- Appreciation for complex technical challenges and optimization;
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in French and English.
- Portfolio and/or demo required;
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
