What does the role involve?

Are you looking to play a key role at the intersection of sales, engineering, and client experience? As a Technical Sales Support Technician, you will act as a trusted advisor, supporting sales teams and clients by turning complex project requirements into practical and innovative solutions.

What is the ideal profile?
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in project management, an asset
  • Solid technical knowledge (thermoforming, composite materials, or related fields)
  • Available to travel frequently, representing approximately 50% of your time, including within the U.S. and internationally.
  • Comfortable working in a bilingual English and French environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Customer-focused mindset with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders
As a Technical Sales Support Technician, what will your responsibilities be?
  • Analyze client requests and assess project feasibility alongside internal teams
  • Act as a technical advisor to support sales opportunities and solution development
  • Conduct on-site visits to gather project requirements and technical data
  • Develop and present customized product solutions to clients
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and project teams to ensure successful delivery
  • Participate in prototype design, testing, and continuous improvement
  • Track project progress, maintain documentation, and prepare reports
  • Coordinate travel, meetings, and communication with stakeholders
