We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to join our Learning and Development team and enhance our People & Culture mission to enable the professional and personal growth of all employees at StackAdapt. As a key individual contributor, you will be instrumental in shaping the technical learning journey for our employees, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to excel. You will leverage your deep expertise in instructional design, content development, and program management to create and deliver world-class learning solutions.
This person will work directly with the Director of Talent Development to build learning experiences that drive engagement, performance and equity across the organization and to support our rapid growth. The ideal candidate is someone who can build innovative learning and development content and facilitate unique learning experiences. The ideal candidate will be excited about the opportunity to experiment, iterate and create new solutions. Someone who believes that a person's abilities can grow and improve with practice.
StackAdapt is a Remote First company, we are open to candidates located anywhere in Canada for this position.
What you'll be doing:
- Design and Develop Technical Learning Content: Build innovative and effective learning content across various modalities, including e-learning modules, micro-learning simulations, videos, job aids, and facilitator-led experiences. You will translate technical specifications and subject matter expertise into clear, concise and engaging learning materials (ex. leveraging AI tools in everyday work)
- Learning Design: Utilize your strong understanding of adult learning theories, instructional design models and learning technologies to develop impactful and scalable learning solutions.
- Program Management: Take ownership of learning programs from inception to completion, including strategy, design, content, delivery and evaluation.
- Facilitation: Plan, guide and deliver learning development programming to motivate learners, encourage engagement and discussion and provide actionable outcomes.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts, including People Business Partners, Talent Management, Engineering, Product and other technical teams to gather information, validate content, and ensure accuracy and relevancy of learning materials.
- Measurement and Evaluation: Evaluate individual and organizational learning needs. Gather feedback from the business and learners to inform and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure effectiveness of our technical development offerings. Use data-driven insights to continuously improve our learning and development offerings.
- Contribute to the Learning Culture: Champion a growth mindset and contribute to a positive and collaborative learning environment within the organization.
What you bring to the table
- Experience in Human Resources, RnD Learning, Instructional Design, or related fields.
- Proven experience in Learning & Development, with a significant focus on designing and developing technical learning content.
- Proven ability to translate complex technical information into accessible and engaging learning experiences for diverse audiences.
- Strong facilitation skills and ability to manage the emotional culture of large groups by creating psychological safety.
- Current knowledge of effective learning and development methodologies.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration and reporting.
- Proficiency in using authoring tools (Articulate 360/Rise), video editing software (Descript) and other multimedia development tools.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and learning technologies.
- Excellent project management, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- A proactive and results-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
