-Examiner les contrats commerciaux avec de nouveaux partenaires afin de déterminer les implications fiscales dans les juridictions applicables
-Préparer les déclarations de taxes indirectes canadiennes et les remises fiscales associées
-Analyser et préparer les soldes des comptes fiscaux/réconciliations et effectuer toutes les écritures comptables fiscales
-Assister aux procédures de conformité fiscale internationale, aux taxes d’accise fédérales et autres obligations fiscales, et coordonner avec les consultants externes si nécessaire afin de respecter les délais
-Appuyer les audits fiscaux gouvernementaux et les examens de conformité en rassemblant et préparant toute la documentation et la correspondance nécessaires
-Effectuer des recherches, des analyses de données et participer aux projets assignés ainsi qu’aux autres tâches connexes
-Se tenir informé(e) des changements législatifs et réglementaires fédéraux, provinciaux et étrangers pertinents, identifier les enjeux fiscaux, formuler des recommandations à la direction et mettre en œuvre les ajustements nécessaires pour maintenir les meilleures pratiques
-Désignation professionnelle CPA (préféré)
-2 à 3 ans d’expérience en fiscalité au sein d’un cabinet Big Four
-Expérience en fiscalité canadienne, bonne connaissance des déclarations de TVH/TVQ et expérience dans les échanges avec l’ARC et Revenu Québec
-Connaissance des réglementations fiscales internationales (un atout)
-Maîtrise du français (un atout)
-Expérience dans le commerce électronique et autres industries technologiques (un atout)
-Expérience en recherche fiscale
-Capacité à travailler de manière autonome, à atteindre des objectifs et à gérer les priorités dans un environnement à délais serrés et concurrents
-Capacité à analyser, évaluer et résoudre des problèmes variés afin d’assurer l’exactitude et le respect des délais
-Approche proactive dans l’identification et la résolution des problèmes

-Maîtrise avancée de MS Word, Excel (Tableaux croisés dynamiques et fonctions de recherche V) et des technologies fiscales
As our successful Indirect Tax Manager, you will be reporting to the VP, Tax and Treasury and will be responsible for the following:
- Serve as the primary lead for setting up new end-to-end indirect tax processes as part of cross-functional projects to scale with the global business.
- Lead the review of commercial contracts with new partners to determine and influence tax implications in applicable jurisdictions. Serve as a strategic partner to internal stakeholders to design proper indirect tax treatment for highly complex global transactions.
- Ownership to ensure accuracy and timely filing of Canadian indirect tax returns and related tax remittances.
- Prepare and manage all international indirect, Federal Excise Tax, and other tax compliance. Critically evaluate and challenge the advice of external consultants as needed to ensure interpretations are optimized and deadlines are met.
- Prepare and own all tax account reconciliations and the execution of all tax journal entries.
- Lead indirect tax audits, routine desk reviews, and inquiries from tax authorities, acting as the primary representative for the company to ensure consistent documentation, efficient resolution, and minimal business interruption.
- Lead complex research, data analysis, and high-impact projects, identifying variable factors and intangibles to resolve multi-jurisdictional tax issues.Keep current on relevant federal, provincial, and foreign statutory/regulatory and/or technology changes to evaluate impact, make recommendations to senior management, and independently implement necessary changes to maintain best practices.
- Develop and implement global indirect tax policies, procedures, and internal controls aligned with best practices and regulatory expectations, ensuring alignment with the broader global tax strategy.
-Professional designation - CPA required
- 8+ years of progressive tax experience, with significant experience in a Big 4 Accounting Firm or a complex global corporate environment.
- Deep technical expertise in Canadian tax legislation and a strong working knowledge of US and International tax frameworks.
- Proven track record of navigating tax regulations in jurisdictions where business models are not clearly defined.
- Fluency in French is an asset
- Experience with e-commerce, SaaS, or other fast-scaling tech industries is strongly preferred.
- Expert-level tax research skills with the ability to translate complex regulations into actionable business strategies.
- Proven ability to independently manage complex indirect tax issues, audits, and global tax planning.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented individual with strong organizational skills who can independently prioritize work and determine methods for the team to meet tight and competing deadlines.
- Ability to evaluate, analyze, and problem-solve highly complex assignments requiring a high degree of initiative and independent action.
- Strategic mindset in identifying and resolving global tax exposures before they impact the business.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated persuasion and negotiation skills used to influence a broad range of internal and external executive stakeholders.
- Strong proficiency with MS Word, Excel (Pivot Tables and V-Lookups) and advanced tax technology
