We're hiring a full-time Talent Acquisition Partner (6-month contract), based in Montreal or Toronto, to help lead recruitment efforts for our Product & Technology teams with a focus on hiring Senior Software Developers. 
In this role, you'll support ongoing hiring for our Financial Services and Retail teams by sourcing candidates, reviewing applicants, conducting technical interviews, and making offers - all while ensuring an exceptional candidate experience and acting as a strategic partner to hiring leaders.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment of Senior Software Developers as part of a collaborative team supporting our Financial Services and Retail teams.
  • Develop and maintain strong and effective business relationships with hiring managers and senior management.
  • Collaborate with and share your expertise with other members of the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Keep track of your hiring data and regularly draw insights to continuously improve our processes and strategy.
  • Responsible for engaging with and finding top talent (e.g. attend recruitment events, job boards, strategic sourcing initiatives, etc.)
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and execution of Lightspeed’s overall sourcing, recruitment hiring plan and objectives.

We're a global Talent Acquisition team of over 30 people. Our team is responsible for attracting top talent.

We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:

  • Proven experience in end-to-end technical recruitment, successfully hiring for Senior Software Developers. 
  • Demonstrated success in strategically sourcing, engaging, and closing top talent.
  • Successful experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches and stakeholder relationships.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills at all levels of the business.
  • Experience advocating for diversity of thought and collaborating with others to highlight its value.
  • Ability to work in a global and fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
