The Role

As a Systems Administrator at Kyndryl, you’ll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You’ll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients – which means some of the biggest in the world.

There’s never a typical day as a Systems Administrator at Kyndryl, because no two projects are alike. You’ll be managing systems data for clients and providing day-to-day solutions and ensuring security compliance. You’ll oversee a queue of assignments and work directly with technicians, prioritizing tickets to deliver the best solutions to our clients.

Who You Are

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

• Advanced knowledge of French (this role is fully in French) and English language is also important for career growth of this role.

• This is a 24/7 support environment, working in shifts and on-call after hours

• At least 3-4 years of mainframe system knowledge and batching

• Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019 implementation and management

• VMware ESX experience

• Public/private cloud management, especially migration from on-prem to cloud solutions

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:

• Vulnerability management

• Microsoft Active Directory and federation services

• Automation experience in scheduling and executing system activities

This position requires the employee to work on a regular basis with Kyndryl stakeholders located in other Canadian provinces, the United States, or internationally where English is the common language, making knowledge of the English language a requirement for this position in addition to fluency in French.
