A Strategic Role at the Heart of Logistic

Responsibilities

  • Analyze indirect spend data across multiple categories to identify cost-saving opportunities and sourcing efficiencies.
  • Lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies that align with company goals;
  • Conduct supplier market research and benchmarking to inform sourcing decisions.
  • Lead the preparation and execution of RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.
  • Analyse data and total cost of ownership in order to develop a comprehensive business case and present findings to executives for decision-making.
  • Evaluate supplier proposals and assist in contract negotiations to ensure best commercial terms.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to align on procurement strategies and contract reviews.
  • Develop and implement category strategies to optimize spend, enhance supplier relationships, and mitigate risks.
  • Monitor supplier performance and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Track and report on sourcing project outcomes and procurement KPIs.
  • Promote the role of Procurement within the organization and develop strong internal and external relationships (clients & vendors).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, Law, Operations, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in sourcing industrial equipment.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
  • Experience with procurement platforms (e.g., ZipHQ).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Bilingual French/English (spoken and written)
  • Familiarity with last-mile delivery operations is an advantage.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.
