This Position reports to:

Superviseur de l’entrepôt
 

The storekeeper receives and places products in the storeroom and prepares the products to be shipped to customers (internal or external). He also takes part in tracking and taking inventory of the stock. The storekeeper receives the products; controls their compliance with the delivery slip. Then, he stores them in the designated and adequate location. Finally, the storekeeper prepares the products that are to be shipped to customers (internal or external), using logistical stock tracing and management tools (SAP). He handles the items or pallets using electric and/or manual forklift trucks, pallet trucks, etc. 

 

Your responsibilities: 

  • Control the goods received (using the transport documents).  

  • Label the goods. 

  • Place the goods in the storeroom according to the locations in effect.  

  • Collect the goods based on a pick list.  

  • Transport/process the material for production or outside sales. 

  • Package the products for delivery to the external customers. 

  • Carry out inventory checks of the items in the storeroom.  

  • Keep the storeroom areas clean and safe at all times. 

  • Any other given tasks to support the operations. 

Qualifications  

 

  • High school diploma 

  • Knowledge of French (spoken, written, and read) 

  • Physical ability required for the position 

  • 2-3 years of warehouse experience 

  • Experience operating various forklifts, with a valid license 

  • Ability to work at heights 

  • Respect for established deadlines 

  • Accuracy in work 

  • Knowledge of MRP systems (SAP is an asset) 

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word) 

  • Ability to work in a team 

  • Strong sense of responsibility 

  • Must always know and respect safety rules
