Role & Responsibilities

The Specialist, Social Media & Content Creation is a mid-level position responsible for the day-to-day execution and optimization of Always-On social media mandates across a portfolio of brands.

In this role, you will independently manage content calendars, content production, community management, paid social amplification, reporting, and day-to-day client communications. You will ensure that content is accurate, delivered on time, and aligned with each client’s brand, objectives, and scope of work.

You will also contribute to content direction by developing original ideas, applying performance learnings, and identifying opportunities to improve future content.

As a Specialist, Social Media & Content Creation, you will:

  • Own the day-to-day execution and quality of assigned social media mandates.
  • Develop and maintain accurate content calendars, ensuring all assets, captions, approvals, and adaptations are ready for publication.
  • Develop and pitch original concepts for short-form videos and recurring content formats.
  • Plan and lead content shoots, including pre-production, on-set execution, and direction of on-screen talent.
  • Coordinate post-production, provide clear feedback, and validate final assets before client delivery.
  • Execute community management while maintaining each brand’s tone of voice.
  • Set up and manage paid social campaigns through Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Ads Manager.
  • Monitor content and campaign performance, flagging risks and identifying optimization opportunities.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports, analyze performance, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Manage day-to-day client communications related to approvals, productions, reporting, and delivery.
  • Manage priorities across multiple mandates and proactively flag delays, risks, or requests outside the agreed scope.
  • Stay current on platform trends and apply relevant learnings to future content.
  • Collaborate closely with Strategists, Senior Specialists, Junior Specialists, and the editing team.
  • Provide feedback and support to Junior Specialists.
  • Support creator outreach and collaborations when required.
Qualifications:
  • 2–5 years of experience in social media, content creation, digital marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience independently managing multiple social media accounts or mandates.
  • Strong experience planning and leading content production from pre-production through post-production.
  • Proven ability to create engaging, platform-native short-form video content.
  • Strong creative, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Experience with community management, content calendars, and client communications.
  • Experience using Meta Ads Manager and/or TikTok Ads Manager.
  • Ability to analyze performance data and translate it into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work with minimal oversight.
  • Advanced proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken.
  • Relevant education in marketing, communications, content production, or a related field is considered an asset. Any relevant combination of education and experience will be considered.
Language Requirement

Advanced proficiency in French and English is required because this position supports both French- and English-language mandates. The Specialist must regularly communicate with French- and English-speaking clients, partners, creators, and talent; participate in meetings and productions in both languages; and write, review, or adapt social media content, client communications, and performance reports in French and English.
