Ce poste offre une occasion stimulante de contribuer à des projets HVDC et d’infrastructures critiques à fort impact, au cœur de la transition énergétique. À titre de spécialiste des systèmes et réseaux IT/OT, vous jouerez un rôle clé dans la conception, la mise en œuvre et le soutien d’infrastructures numériques sécurisées et résilientes permettant une distribution fiable de l’énergie à l’échelle mondiale.

De la phase d’appel d’offres jusqu’à l’exécution complète des projets, vous interviendrez dans des environnements techniques complexes intégrant les technologies opérationnelles, les réseaux industriels et les principes de cybersécurité. Vous collaborerez étroitement avec les équipes d’ingénierie, la R&D et les clients afin de garantir que les solutions sont robustes, conformes et alignées sur les objectifs des projets.

Vous évoluerez au sein d’une organisation mondiale où la sécurité, l’intégrité et l’amélioration continue guident les méthodes de travail. Votre impact

  • Concevoir et soutenir des systèmes IT/OT pour des projets HVDC et d’infrastructures critiques
  • Mettre en œuvre des architectures de réseaux industriels sécurisées et résilientes
  • Travailler avec des systèmes SCADA, HMI, des serveurs et des réseaux de communication industrielle
  • Soutenir les analyses de risques en cybersécurité et les mesures d’atténuation
  • Collaborer avec les équipes d’ingénierie, de R&D et les parties prenantes externes
  • Soutenir l’intégration des systèmes, incluant serveurs, bases de données et Active Directory
  • Contribuer aux stratégies d’automatisation, de gestion des correctifs et de sauvegarde
  • Promouvoir la sécurité, l’intégrité et l’amélioration continue à travers les projets

Votre profil

  • Baccalauréat en informatique, technologies de l’information, ingénierie ou dans un domaine connexe
  • Généralement entre 3 et 7 années d’expérience en IT/OT, automatisation industrielle ou environnements d’infrastructures critiques
  • Expérience pratique avec les commutateurs, routeurs, pare-feu et réseaux redondants
  • Expérience avec des environnements Windows client et serveur, virtualisés ou physiques
  • Connaissance des pratiques de cybersécurité en environnements opérationnels ou industriels
  • La maîtrise de l’anglais est requise; le français est tout aussi important
  • La personne candidate doit déjà détenir une autorisation de travail valide lui permettant de travailler pour Hitachi Energy au Canada

The opportunity

This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high‑impact HVDC and critical infrastructure projects at the forefront of the energy transition. As an IT/OT Systems & Network Specialist, you will play a key role in designing, building, and supporting secure and resilient digital infrastructures that enable reliable power delivery worldwide.

From the early tender phase through full project execution, you will support technically complex environments that integrate operational technologies, industrial networks, and cybersecurity principles. You’ll work closely with engineering, R&D, and customers to ensure systems are robust, compliant, and aligned with project goals. This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy hands‑on technical work combined with cross‑functional collaboration in mission‑critical environments.

You’ll be part of a global organization where safety, integrity, and continuous improvement are central to how work gets done. With exposure to advanced technologies such as SCADA, HVDC systems, and secure network architectures, this role provides strong opportunities to deepen expertise while contributing to projects that truly matter.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Design and support IT/OT systems for HVDC and critical infrastructure projects
  • Implement secure and resilient industrial network architectures
  • Work with SCADA, HMI, servers, and industrial communication networks
  • Support cybersecurity risk assessments and mitigation activities
  • Collaborate with engineering, R&D, and external stakeholders
  • Support system integration, including servers, databases, and Active Directory
  • Contribute to automation, patch management, and backup strategies
  • Promote safety, integrity, and continuous improvement across projects

Your background

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field
  • Typically 3–7 years of experience in IT/OT, industrial automation, or critical infrastructure
  • Hands‑on experience with switches, routers, firewalls, and redundant networks
  • Experience with Windows client and server environments, virtualized or bare metal
  • Exposure to cybersecurity practices in operational environments
  • Fluency in English required; French is equally important
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in Canada
